Hello!  Welcome to Reno High School.  My name is Traci Scichilone.  I am a graduate of Douglas High School in Minden, Nevada.  I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada in Elementary and Special Education.  I completed my student teaching in 4th grade and middle school, but my first teaching position was at Reno High School.  From the very first day that I taught high school students, I knew that it was where I belonged.  After eight years of teaching, I took some time away to have my second child.  While "retired" from the Washoe County School District, I obtained my master's degree from Lesley University in Technology in Education.  

I love what I teach, and I hope that it shows!  When I am not at school, I'm usually on the ballfield either watching my son or daughter or catching a professional game-preferably the Red Sox.  I hope that you embrace your high school years as they will fly by.  Respect, honor, and strength in all that you do, and if there is ever anything that I can help you with please do not hesitate to ask.
