Art Lessons:
These ART lessons are designed to be connected to the ART and ELA standards. Arts integration enhances student engagement and depth of knowledge in core academic subject areas. Visual Literacy is the ability to evaluate, apply, or create conceptual visual representations. The lessons have been adapted by WCSD teachers, but are in no way meant to be exemplars. Feedback is welcome and encouraged. See the virtual Classrooms for each Benchmark Unit to incorporate a connected ART Lesson. Remember they are located in your Teacher Community Team under ELA Planning Resources. Please send comments to Kelly S.
