Board Policy Committee

  • Purpose Statement

     
    The Board Policy Committee functions in an advisory capacity as a way for the Board of Trustees to maintain oversight of the Board Policies and other governing documents of the District.   The Board Policy Committee is responsible for the review and revision of Board Policies, and creating a consistent format for policy development and implementation, including publication, monitoring, and review.  The review process also helps ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws. 

Meetings & Archive

  • Meetings of the Board Policy Committee generally begin at 2:00 p.m. Meetings are held in the Board Room of the Central Administration Building, located at 425 East Ninth Street in Reno.  You may submit public comment via email at: BoardPolicyCommittee@washoeschools.net.
