Congratulations to the winners of the 1st Annual Pedestrian Safety Message Poster Contest!
The poster contest is a collaborative effort between Safe Routes to School, The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County (RTC) and Blue Zone Sports. Each winner received an I-Pad and a new bike! The three winners' artwork is now wrapped on RTC buses for one year! Keep your eye out for them all over Washoe County.
Grand Prize Winner: Zhang Yunqing- 3rd Grade
2nd Place Winner: Jaelynn Vicente- 8th Grade
3rd Place Winner: Ricardo Marquez- 4th Grade
This contest is designed to bring pedestrian and bike safety to the forefront of everyone's mind. Safety is always our highest priority, especially for our students, families and motorists who share the roadways every day in the neighborhoods surrounding our schools.
