Scholarship Criteria:
- NWF welcomes applications from women from northern Nevada. NWF defines northern Nevada as all Nevada counties except Clark County.
- Applicants must be attending post-secondary university, college, or trade-school in northern Nevada or at an accredited online program. If attending a school outside of northern Nevada, the field of study must not be offered at any school in northern Nevada.
- Applicants must have an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Applicants must upload a copy of their FAFSA SAR Report and a copy of their most recent school transcript.* (some exceptions will be made this year to this requirement due to changes in the FAFSA process)
- Applicants must be enrolled in school in the upcoming Fall Semester to be awarded funds.
- Eligible applications are reviewed by the NWF Allocations Committee and scored based on financial need, academics, and personal background.
- Scholarship Awards will be announced in April 2024.
