• holiday card contest

The purpose of the Holiday Card Design Competition is to promote visual arts in our schools and to engage students, families and the community. It is a program conducted by the Office of Communications and Community Engagement that offers school-age children the opportunity to submit artwork for the Washoe County School District annual holiday card. One entry each from grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 were chosen from nearly 400 entries by district personnel as winners. The Board of Trustees recognized the winners at their December 12th meeting, and the winners received their artwork in frames and gift cards. The four pieces of winning artwork will be used for the district’s 2023 printed and digital holiday cards. Thanks to all who entered to help make this a successful event!
