    First Meet the Masters Meeting

    Cave Art

    September 11, 2021 - Meet the Masters is excited for the year's first art lesson, Cave Art! This is a perfect opportunity for parents to volunteer in their child's class.  For each lesson there is a parent overview where the artist (or art genre) and lesson are discussed. Four important details are below: the WCSD volunteer form, the Survey Monkey interest link, parent overview date for the cave art lesson, and the cave art grade lesson times.

      Third, the cave art parent lesson overview will be Friday September 24th at 2pm in the Gomm cafeteria. 
      Last, below are the grade level lesson times where the Cave Art lesson will be completed: 
    all are the week of October 11-15.
    Kindergarten, Wednesday October 13th at 11:30am
    First grades,  Thursday October 14th 2:30-3:30pm
    Second grades, Thursday October 14th 2:30-3:3opm
    Third grades, Tuesday October 12th 1:15-2:15pm
    Fourth grades, Monday October 11th 10:45-11:45am
    Fifth grades, Friday October 15th 10:50-11:50am
    Sixth grades, Monday October 11th at 2:30-3:30pm
    SWAS Mrs Roller Thursday October 14th 1:15-2:15pm

    Purpose:  An opportunity to expose students to artist and technique to enhance creativity and self-expression.  

    Role and Goal:  Allow parent, family, and community volunteers to participate in academic experiences on campus.  Meet the Masters has increased student access to art history, materials, and creative experiences.
