Hello everyone. I am so excited to meet the first 6th graders of Marce Herz Middle School in person. I have been a WCSD teacher for 26 years, and I look forward to sharing, working and learning together in my 27th year. Prior to my teaching career, I worked in Tahoe City in the travel/service industry for 10 years, which provided me the opportunity to explore and adventure the beauty of the Sierra Mountains that I have come to love and call home. Together we will be courageous and kind to one another during these unstable times our world is facing. Our Marce Herz motto fits us perfectly! "Empowering young people to pursue their passions and change the world."

Hi all!
I am so excited to meet you! This will be my 8th year of full-time teaching and my 7th year in the Washoe County School District. Prior to working at Marce Herz Middle School, I worked at Depoali Middle School, several schools in Southern California, an aquarium, and a marine microbiology laboratory. With this background, I hope to share innovative lessons and learn new things with you. This year is sure to have its challenges, but I am sure that we will work together to overcome them, learn, and grow together! Let's RISE Falcons!
