Absent Work 2019-20

  • In order for absences to be excused, students must complete make up work. In orchestra, students will have the number of class periods absent plus one to complete the work. So, if Sally is absent for two orchestra class periods, she will have two orchestra class period days plus one more to complete the absent work. If Sally has not completed the absent work by end of those three class period days, her absence will count as unexcused. Even though her absence will remain unexcused, Sally has until the end of the unit or grading period to complete the work to count toward her grade.
