Digital Drama and Cyberbullying - HS
Digital Drama and Cyberbullying is a topic in which high school students demonstrate grade level mastery through four lessons. Students thoughtfully consider questions such as, “Which factors intensify cyberbullying and online cruelty, and what can you do to lesson them? How does online cruelty affect the people involved? What does it mean to become an Internet celebrity? How can you create a community culture in which hate speech is unacceptable, both online and offline?” Through these questions, students address more complex content around cyberbullying, gender influences, and hate speech. The desired outcomes are for students to demonstrate responsible social media use.
