Identity and Self-Image - MS

  • The grade level expectations in the topic Identity and Self-Image help students formulate answers to questions including: “What is the place of digital media in our lives? What are your personal media habits, and how much time do you spend with different forms of media? What are gender stereotypes, and how can they shape our experiences online?” By building upon the foundational lessons of elementary school, students will be able to demonstrate grade level mastery of concepts involving digital media in our lives as well as the influences of gender stereotypes on identity and self-image. Artifacts created through lessons should be posted in the classroom for reference throughout the academic year.
